Editorial Policy & AI Disclosure

How we find, verify, and present settlement information — Updated June 2026

Our Editorial Mission

Actumo's goal is to surface accurate, actionable class action settlement information so that eligible class members can claim money owed to them. We are not a law firm, and nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice. Our role is informational only.

How We Source Settlement Data

Settlement information on Actumo is collected from:

  • Public court records — PACER filings, state court records, and published settlement agreements
  • Settlement administrator websites — Official claim sites operated by Epiq, JND, Angeion, KCC, and other administrators
  • Legal news aggregators — Publicly indexed articles from settlement reporting organizations
  • Government databases — Published class action notices and required public disclosures

AI Disclosure

This platform uses AI to assist with content creation.

Actumo uses large language models (LLMs) to:

  • Extract and structure settlement data from source articles
  • Generate settlement summary guides published on this site
  • Match settlement eligibility criteria to user profiles

AI-generated content on Actumo is reviewed for factual accuracy before publication. However, AI models can produce errors. We strongly recommend verifying all settlement information — including deadlines, payout amounts, and eligibility — directly on the official settlement administrator's website before submitting any claim.

Accuracy & Corrections

We update settlement data as it becomes available. Settlement amounts, deadlines, and eligibility criteria can change after initial publication. If you find an error, email hello@actumo.com — we typically correct factual errors within 24 hours.

Independence

Our data team operates independently from our commercial team. Advertiser relationships and sponsored placements do not influence the accuracy or completeness of settlement data. See our Advertising Disclosure for full details on commercial relationships.

Not Legal Advice

Actumo is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Information on this platform is for general informational purposes only. For legal advice specific to your situation, consult a licensed attorney. Claims submitted through external settlement websites are made under penalty of perjury — you are solely responsible for the accuracy of your submissions.
