How to Submit a Takedown Notice
Your notice must include all of the following:
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The URL or specific location on Actumo where the allegedly infringing material appears
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
- Your physical or electronic signature

Counter-Notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to legal@actumo.com including: (1) your contact information, (2) identification of the removed material, (3) a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was in error, and (4) your consent to jurisdiction in federal district court.
Repeat Infringers
Actumo will terminate the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers, in accordance with the DMCA safe harbor provisions.
Fair Use
Settlement names, case descriptions, court filing excerpts, and other factual information about legal proceedings are generally factual in nature and may be reproduced for news, commentary, and educational purposes under the fair use doctrine. We make reasonable efforts to attribute sources where applicable.
